ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA A. NATIONALITY / CITIZENSHIP ::
A candidate must be either (i) a citizen of India, OR (ii) a subject of Nepal, OR (iii) subject of Bhutan, OR (iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic to Tanzania ( formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar ), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii) (iii) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to examination / interview conducted by the bank but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificates have been issued to him by the Government of India. The candidate should be a domicile of BIHAR.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION [ As on 01.12.2009 ] *A degree from any recognized University in any discipline or its equivalent OR *A pass in Higher Secondary School Examination of 10+2 or 10+2+3 pattern/11th standard of 11+3 pattern /pre-degree or intermediate or any equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate or *Pass with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate in Matriculation/senior School Certificate (old pattern) or equivalent or *Diploma in Banking recognized by State or Central Government /State Government or Union Territory
Proficiency in Hindi is essential Knowledge of English is preferred Preference will be given to candidates who are Computer Literates in MS DOS, MS Word, MS Excel, Networking etc.

WRITTEN TEST (i) The written test for the post of Clerk cum cashier ( Office Assistant ) will be held on Sunday, 21.03.2010
(ii) The date of examination in tentative. The exact date will be communicated to the candidates through call letter for the examination or through website of the Bank or through Local Newspapers. The Bank, however, reserves the right to cancel or make any change in the date of examination, if need arises.

CALL LETTERS FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION :: All eligible candidates will be issued call letters at the correspondence address given by the candidates in their application form, which will be sent by ordinary post.
