The capital of the state Jharkhand, Ranchi, is a city which is really a modern type of city. This city boasts about the status of Jharkhand. Despite of the fact that Jharkhand is among the most corrupt states of India, still Ranchi looks as if even there is corruption but modernization can be done. I remember that in 2005, I had gone with my parents to Tamil Nadu. My mother and father had their treatments in the CMC hospital. We stayed there for about ten days. When anyone of us would discuss about Jharkhand, they would not understand what Jharkhand was, but when we said about Ranchi, they recognized because the captain of our Team India belongs to Ranchi only.
Ranchi is a good place where you can have your higher education, like M. S. Dhoni, too. It looks to be modern and has a good population, I presume, more than 7 million people do reside in this city. The city has good roads and boasts a number of shopping malls. The best thing is that it is the best place for all those who want to buy cars in Jharkhand; it has almost all the showrooms. Moreover, there are classic musical shops like those situated in Roshpa Tower, which is among the biggest shopping malls. Further, there is Big Shop in Ranchi and many other multiplexes.
I would say that Ranchi is the cleanest city in all of Jharkhand. Especially when there is a rain, it looks like a real and clean township from the people who live there. I also want to say that the real beauty of Ranchi can be seen outside the main town, in the nearby suburbs which belong to it. Especially, the waterfalls of Ranchi are really famous in the area. There are two falls which are very popular here, Jonha Falls and Hirni Falls. Both of them really look very beautiful and relaxing for a person who wants to spend some time alone and admire the nature.
There is the ormanjhi park also, just about 20-30 kilometres away from the main town and plus above all this, there are many temples, especially Devri temple and Doranda temple which are famous here and the pilgrims are really devoted to these places. There is the Jagannathpur temple which has a Puri based architecture and was built about 330 years ago and speaks about the real existence of God.
I will say that unlike many other big cities and metropolitans, Ranchi is a bit freer of pollution too, and looks to be pure as you can see trees here and there grown and the people of Jharkhand are well connected with this city. I would suggest you all to visit this city, as soon as possible because if you have not visited it yet, you have missed a big part.
