Buroo Gada is an award winning documentary film made by the famous Jharkhandi director called as Shreeprakash
Well, Buroo Gada is not a hindi feature film with a lot of hi fi story and a collection of melodious songs but in fact and instead it is a documentary film made by Mr. Shreeprakash on the ground of a real story.
The story of the documentary ‘Buroo Gada’ revolves around two characters, two women, namely Nirmala Putul and Dayamini Barla. The documentary exposes much of the lives of these two women. Both of them belong to Jharkhand. While Dayamini Barla is currently a very popular social worker and is frequent among the masses, Nirmal Putul is today a very famous Santhali poet. Nirmala Putul belongs to Dumka and not only she is a famous poet but also she is a very popular and an active social worker.
Both the women had struggled a lot in order to achieve the stand on which they are having their feet now. They really worked hard, faced a lot of problems in their lives and finally they have dedicated themselves for the welfare of the public. Moreover, not only these two women are made upon the platform and played as the main characters in the documentary film but actually Mr. Shreeprakash tries to bring out the problems of the mass of the adivasi people of Jharkhand and sometimes Bihar. Actually this film is totally dedicated to the public, specially the adivasi mass of Jharkhand.
For the success of the movie and for the prize, the director Shreeprakash will be awarded Rs. 50,000 and also he will be given a title for it.
