It is a very sad thing to tell you that the BDO of a place of Jharkhand called Dhalbhoomgarh gets arrested.
Jharkhand has been a place where people often hear the word named 'Naxalite'. Leaving the two northeastern most districts, all other districts are naxalite prone regions. You would be able to hear about naxal activities in these areas everyday and you would surely love to stop it. But the fact is that the administration has been unable to stop the naxal attacks.
Recently, Prashant Kumar Laayak, the Block Development Officer of the area, called as Dhalbhoomgarh was kidnapped by the naxalites and as far as I know, he was picked up from his house. The thing is really shocking to hear but then it is a reality. A person which such eminent position gets kidnapped from home by the naxals is really shocking. The whole of Jharkhand is praying for him so that he is not eliminated. Moreover, the administration is trying to get him out of the danger too.
It looks like there is no security of the life of any person till the naxalites are there in our state, and I think it is we who are affected and so we will have to take steps.
